Selena Gomez is moving up in the world.  The Disney star was on hand for the first day of Mercedes-Benz Los Angeles Fashion Week Spring 2009 held at Smashbox Studios.  Selena looked totally adorable with her curly hair and plaid jumper, which I'm sure reminds some of us older readers of Claire Danes' character on My So-Called Life.

But which one's which?  We spotted Lindsay Lohan and girlfriend Samantha Ronson leaving Madison Square Garden in New York City after catching one of Madonna's concerts on the Sticky and Sweet Tour.

Lindsay has hinted that she will dress up as veep nominee Sarah Palin for Halloween.  Rubber masks of Palin's face have been flying off the shelves and in addition to LiLo as Sah Pah, Sam might dress up as Todd Palin!  I'm sure Todd Palin never imagined a life where he might be so famous, lesbian djs would pretend to be him for Halloween. 

Wowzers.  What is going on with Fergie's face?!  We spotted The Dutchess dining in the Notting Hill area of London yesterday afternoon and we couldn't help but notice homegirl was looking a little lumpy.  Is Fergie having a bad reaction to some medicine, or is that a little post-op face bulge that I spy??? Um, cute outfit though...yikes.

     

Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman are the couple that just won't quit!  It's nice to see a couple of Hollywood kids who know how to keep it together and keep it low key.  We spotted the pair leaving the Dorchester Hotel in London last night.  Christina accessorized her outfit with a pair of sunglasses, a yellow plaid cap and an orange tan. Xtina, you're so pretty, give up the fake bake already!

  

Miley Cyrus proves to us that she's an international sensation as she performs on BBC's The Switch Live.  Miley took to the stage in a gold and white outfit that was very 80s-tastic.  I love Miley's retro wardrobe concept, but does anyone else think that the white pants and fedora are a little on the David Lee Roth side? 

    

The cutest celebrity family ever were on display in Hollywood over the weekend.  Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale and their son Kingston Rossdale got in the spirit of the season and went pumpkin picking!  The family checked out Mr. Bone's pumpkin patch in West Hollywood, where Kington had his eye on a giant white gourd. 

    

We spotted Jamie Lynn Spears in Mississippi over the weekend.  The new mom kept a low profile in a pair of aviator shades while pushing her daughter Maddie Briann though the parking lot of a local Wal-Mart.

Rumors are circulating that Jamie Lynn is once again with child.  People in JL's camp have of coursed denied the rumors and while her tummy is looking pretty flat, only time will tell!

       

Britney's motherly instincts are kicking back in y'all!  We spotted Britney Spears and her dad Jamie Spears picking up her sons Jayden James (seen here in the red shirt) and Sean Preston from pre-school in Encino, Calif. this afternoon. It looks their school is already decorated for Halloween (either that or that's the dirtiest day care ever), can't wait to see those little buggers in pumpkin costumes.

        

Even though he's just released RocknRolla, Guy Ritchie is hard at work on his next project.  We spotted Guy and Robert Downy Jr. filming a new screen adaption of Sir Author Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes.

Currently shooting in London, Robert will play the titular character with Jude Law as his sidekick Dr. Watson and Rachel McAdams as Holmes' love interest, Mary.

Robert told the Guardian that Guy was taking on the story in an innovative way (in comparison to previous versions), "[we're] returning to a little bit more of what the stories always had in them and the scale of them and the canvas is so huge I just don't think they've ever had the budget to fully tell the story in a really big, fun way."  Guy Ritchie added, "We're trying to be as authentic as we can to the original Sherlock Holmes. We've tried to include a bit more Conan Doyle in it."
