Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry swept the American Music Awards Sunday night winning three awards each, proving that America really does love their Idols!  The prefab pop tarts of High School Musical took home an award for best soundtrack, while break out solo artists Justin Timberlake and Fergie each won for best solo male and female artist. But whether they they won or not, they stars still came out looking red carpet fabulous.

These pictures definitely speak for themselves, and unfortunately they aren't saying anything good.  We can't figure out what these celebrities were thinking when they chose their outfits for the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards.... but it couldn't have been happy thoughts.  From ill-fitting dresses to tassels and leather, these celebs could really use better stylists.  See more pics after the jump.

"The Hills" co-star Audrina Partridge was spotted leaving the Ultra Supper Club in Toronto, Canada last night wearing a silver beaded mini dress, accented with a gold bracelet and shiny gold peep toe heels.  Also wearing the silver mini, with bangle bracelets and black studded ankle boots, was Pussycat Dolls hottie Nicole Scherzinger as she stopped by MTV's Total Request Live in NYC yesterday.  Which sexy lady do you think rocked this look better?
