Basketball is soooo retro lately. Celts v. Lakers, how 80s! Unfortunately the stars did not dress accordingly and showed up in clothes of the millennium.  Seriously, wouldn't sports be way more interesting if there were costumes to go with it? I would have LOVED to see someone rock an emerald green, satin Celtics jacket or maybe some purple and yellow Zubaz.  Alas, no one listens to my good ideas, so let's talk about who showed up.
The Lakers won the game 87-81 after being cheered on by all their celebrity (fair weather) fans.  Fergie, Toby Maguire and Kristin Davis (yeah, I'm sure she's a hardcore Lakers fanatic) all came out to the game as well as Jon Voight and son James Haven; I guess sports can heal even the deepest of familial wounds!  Thankfully there were some Boston fans there, none other than New Kids, Joey McIntyre and Donnie Wahlberg.  BEAT L.A.!

       

The Sex and the City movie made its grand premiere last night, returning to the city that some call the "fifth" character.  Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis walked the pink carpet in a blaze of glitz and glamor (although I have to say, something about the pink carpet and the shiny black back drop made it seem like the entrance to Lace (gentleman's club) in Times Square).   The ladies did look good, but no one impressed me as much as Jennifer Hudson; her hair and dress were so young and fresh.  Speaking of looking young (but not in a good way), what was up with Lil Kim's dress? Those fluorescent colors remind me a Jet Set shorts set I would rock back in the early 90s (although I guess it should be enough that her nip isn't hanging out...baby steps)!

        

Sex and The City: The Movie has officially premiered and (as evidenced by Sarah Jessica Parker's hat) the madness has officially begun!  SJP, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall graced the red carpet in front of the Odeon Cinema in London to attend the screening of the movie that has been buzzed about since the show's finale four years ago.  Opening May 30 stateside, you can check out the trailer here (if somehow you still haven't!)

     

We caught up with Kristin Davis on the set of the Sex and the City movie.  Davis, filming a scene in Central Park, stopped rumors short by telling photags that no, she didn't put on some pounds but instead looked a little huskier cuz she was wearing a fake bump for the movie.  Davis' character Charlotte York-Goldenblatt is pregnant in the movie.  Jeez, paranoid much?! (ok so people would have totally presumed that she got fat but we'll see how many times she brings up how not fat she is in the next couple of month ;)

When Sex and the City left off, Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) and Harry Goldenblatt (Evan Handler) were in the process of adopting a child.  Judging from these new pictures, it appears Charlotte's dream of becoming a mother has finally come true.  And she's absolutely adorable!!!  This movie keeps looking better and better.

Well, here it is! Carrie Bradshaw finally getting hitched on Sex & The City. We can't tell you who to, or even that this is a real marriage and not a dream sequence or some other Hollywood script trick, but we can confirm that Carrie (AKA Sarah Jessica Parker) walked out of St Patrick's Cathedral in New York City today wearing a wedding dress, and the other SATC girls appeared to be bridesmaids. So draw your own conclusions!

A little older, a little wiser.. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall strolled through Manhattan together for the first time since the TV version of Sex & The City ended three-and-a-half years ago. The girls were filming the opening credits for the upcoming SATC movie, and all we can say is - they still look great!

Actress Kristin Davis couldn't hide her swollen tummy when we pictured her on the set of the new Sex and the City movie today. Looks like Kristin gets preggers in the film (unless it's a clever ploy to fool fans) but, if these shots are anything to go by, it certainly doesn't stop her character Charlotte from doing what she does best...shopping. When the TV show ended, Charlotte was planning to adopt a child from China, so we wonder what happened with that. Hopefully, all will be revealed.

Forget the rumors and the hype, it's now for real - the Sex and the City movie will be coming to a cinema near you shortly. The girls, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall have put their differences(bitchiness)on hold to make the flick, according to TV Guide. They obviously need the cash because they haven't done much else since the show ended.
