Kevin Federline has opened up to People to discuss the whirlwind of a year he's had being Britney Spear's ex-husband and how he is coping being a single dad to his sons Jayden James and Sean Preston.

"It's hard enough to be in a marriage, and then have a kid, then kids, it changes everything," says K-Fed of he and Britney's brief and rocky marriage.  "For me, I'd become more concerned with my children. Not that I ignored Britney, but my kids are always most important."

K-Fed goes onto tell the mag that the night last January when Britney locked herself in a bathroom with Jayden was a very scary experience.  "That whole night is a blur. You want to talk about one of my lowest points of depression, that was probably one of them. I was very, very worried for her 'cause I care about her."

He says though that things are getting better and that its good that the children get to spend time with both parents. "There's structure over there, there's structure at my house. We're trying to keep the same type of schedule. It doesn't have to be completely perfect, but the foundation is there.

"That's the mother of my children," K-Fed says.  "Just because I'm not in love with her doesn't mean that I don't love her. I'm definitely rooting for her. There's nothing more that I want than for her to be in the best health and doing what she loves to do."

If there were only three available babysitters left on the face of the planet and they happened to be Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn Spears and Kevin Federline, who would you pick?  You must leave your child with one of the three, and sure, they may be what you consider to be a last resort but you must make a choice.  I think typically the public would go with someone who is a mother herself, however, the two Spears women are special cases and in a recent survey Kevin Federline was the clear winner!

In an iVillage survey, participants chose Kevin Federline five times more than both Britney and Jamie Lynn!  The website was collecting data on bad babysitting experiences and included a special poll about celebrity parents. 

Technically Kevin has proven himself as the better parent, as he now has sole custody of Jayden James and Sean Preston but to be fair I think Britney is on her way to better parenting.  She may not be the poster child for motherhood but it seems that she is getting her life in order these days, Jamie Lynn on the other hand has some years to prove herself. 

Tell me y'all, who would you pick; Brit Brit, K-Fed or Jamie Lynn?!  (And no, you can't pick Casey Aldridge either!)

It's almost time again for the X Games and to get ready teen skateboarding phenom Ryan Scheckler hosted the X Games Celebrity Skins Classic at the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.  The event was real dudesy with K-Fed, Brody Jenner, Verne Troyer and Carey Hart all hand to hit the green. It's probably the only time you'll seen an abundance of tattoos, skate shoes and baggy shorts on a golf course.

       

Apparently Britney was bringing a classic back into rotation last night.

So Britney went to court, but she didn't actually go to court and therefore the visitation ruling remains the same.  Although she was inside the building, Britney did not go into the courtroom and instead kept the Commissioner waiting.  (Here we see K.Fed arriving who was later sworn in.) K.Fed will retain full custody and Britney will not have any visitation rights, the case will go to trial in April.   I think I may correctly assume that if you want your kids back, you have to act like you actually do.

Good guy or party boy? We hope for Jamie Lynn's sake Casey is more like the reformed K. Fed than the one who tries to rap.

A California judge has just ruled that Britney Spears is not to be allowed to see her children AT ALL. The ruling is a direct result of Britney breaking one of the court orders made in her custody battle with Kevin Federline. Federline now has full custody of both children, and Britney is completely banned from seeing them until she complies with all court orders.

Britney Spears has lost custody of her sons Jayden James and Sean Preston, following a ruling by a California judge today. Kevin Federline's attorney in his ongoing custody case with Britney petitioned the court today after she was photographed driving the children at the weekend without a valid California license.  LA County Superior Court judge Scott Gordon ruled that Kevin should receive full custody of both children, beginning on Wednesday this week, until further order of the court.

Attorney Gloria Allred has just given a press conference detailing the explosive declaration Britney's ex-bodyguard Tony Barretto gave to an LA court today. In his statement, Barretto gave details of:

*Nudity involving the children
*Britney's drug-taking
*Britney putting the children in physical danger

''Today we came to court with a key and secret witness in the Britney Spears - Kevin Federline custody battle.

It's still unclear exactly what he revealed in his testimony this morning in court, but one thing's for sure.. Britney Spears' ex-bodyguard's deposition was explosive. The hulking minder shadowed Britney's every move for months and watched over her throughout her now infamous breakdown period - when she shaved her head and was in and out of rehab. Tony was definitely close enough to Britney to make a judgment on her abilities as a mother, and we're sure Kevin is counting on his testimony as a vital component of his cast against his ex.
