She may have given us a wave and a smile yesterday afternoon, but by last night Suri Cruise was OVER IT.  The little tot buried her head into her mother Katie Holme's shoulders and covered her ears in Manhattan last night.  Suri was also joined by her dad Tom Cruise who has recently been serving as her toy liason (aka doll and stuffed animal holder).   Don't cry, Suri, you'll only be in the spotlight for...the rest of your life.

         

Katie Holmes has reason to smiles.  The actress's Broadway debut is going fantastic; All My Sons took in  $684,002 for its first full week of eight preview performances. The theater was nearly sold out each time and tickets go for between $115-$300. 

Ms Holmes headed to her new home, the Schoenfeld Theatre, in New York City yesterday.  Dressed in an orange cardigan Katie rocked yet another kind jeans, bell bottoms.  She's got baggy, pegged, skinny and now these 70s throwbacks; I'd like to see her rock some acid washed next.

    

It was another big day in Manhattan for Suri Cruise yesterday.  Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were seen taking their daughter to Alice's Tea Cup for tea and cookies.  Suri looked very tea party appropriate in a white frilly dress and blue satin sash tied in a huge bow.

Katie must be pleased with her Broadway debut, All My Sons was the highest-grossing play on Broadway last week!  I think Katie may finally be ready for a legit role on the big screen (no First Daughter 2 for her!) after receiving such great reviews on the play

       

How much do you love the matching outfits?!  We spotted Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes both wearing gray blazers yesterday night.  The twins couple were out in Manhattan grabbing dinner after one of Katie's performances. In addition to starring in All My Sons, Katie will have a cameo role on the sitcom Eli Stone.

    

Baby doll? Check. Baby giraffe? Check.  Baby Suri?  Of course!  We spotted Katie Holmes doing what she does most afternoons, going to rehearsals for All My Sons.  This time Katie was accompanied by Suri who was swaddled in a blanket and brought some "guests" with her. 

Apparently Katie has been taking the Scientology protesters who have been picketing her play in stride.  Her co-star John Lithgow had this to say about Katie, “It (the protest) was much more disruptive to the other theaters on the street! Katie is lovely in the play, and she’s been such a sweetheart to work with. She has worked so hard - this is a tough, tough play.  Katie is acting with thoroughbreds and she’s doing a wonderful job! She’s had to really push herself.”

      

The previews have officially begun for All My Sons.  Last night Katie Holmes appeared on stage along with co-stars John Lithgow and Dianne West. 

Katie looked great in costume, I miss her hair being long like that, it's so much more youthful!

Of course hubby Tom Cruise was in the audience to lend her support.

Also on hand, Scientology protesters.  Demonstrators from the Sociology group Anonymous, picketed outside of the theater. The group was wearing masks and shouted, “We are not boycotting Katie, we are not boycotting the play, we are protesting Scientology. It is evil. Scientology kills people. It follows you home at night. It is perverted.”

Well hey, everyone's gotta have haters!  All My Sons becomes open to the public starting next month. 

        

Suri Cruise does not look interested in what's going on.  I bet in her head she's thinking "the word "play" means something different to me entirely and I don't think what is seemingly taking up my mother's time for half the day, every day, is anything to close to the world play or fun. I don't like it one bit!"

Well, maybe that's the advanced version but All My Sons probably has very little to do with jumping up and down on trampolines so she's probably not happy.  Anyhow, even though Suri needs a nap, her pigtails sure do look cute, Katie keeps that kid well coiffed!

    

OMG, have you ever seen Katie Holmes this animated?! Tom Cruise is back in the Big Apple keeping his woman company and she seems pretty happy about it.

Katie and Tom were leaving rehearsals from Katie's play All My Sons.  The play is set to debut on Broadway next month and run until January; then what?  Do you think after it's over Katie will get preggers again?  My money's on yes!

        

Fashion victim Katie Holmes seems to have thrown on every kind of leg wear since she arrived in New York to rehearse for her upcoming Broadway play. And just as we thought she might be running out of ideas, she turns out today in a tatty pair of hole-riddled denims she might have picked up from a thrift shop. No doubt they cost her a few bucks, but we still think she's due a style makeover intervention now.

That little girl looks like she just saw the second coming of Jesus, or Xenu as it were.  Katie Holmes can have that effect on the common people and it was no different we saw the actress strutting her stuff on the street in Manhattan this afternoon. 

Keeping with the theme of a 'new kind of pants for every day of the week', today Katie rocked some black, skinny jeans and a pair of heels.

I wonder what the Messiah will wear tomorrow...
