Britney's motherly instincts are kicking back in y'all!  We spotted Britney Spears and her dad Jamie Spears picking up her sons Jayden James (seen here in the red shirt) and Sean Preston from pre-school in Encino, Calif. this afternoon. It looks their school is already decorated for Halloween (either that or that's the dirtiest day care ever), can't wait to see those little buggers in pumpkin costumes.

        

We spotted Britney treating herself to some ice cream yesterday.  The pop princess dressed in a pink and white top and big sunglasses stopped in Los Angeles for a little dessert.

In conjunction with her new album, Britney is releasing a 90-minute documentary about her return to pop music after a very chaotic couple of years.  For the Record will air on MTV on November 30

So much has gone on over the last couple of years and there's a lot that people don't know about me that I want them to know," Spears told MTV News in a statement about the special. "I wanted to make this film because I started to feel like I wasn't being seen in the light that I wanted to be seen in. This is an opportunity to set the record straight and talk about what I've been through and where I'm headed."

Britney Spears seems to be vehicularly cursed.  Brit was on her way to a vintage store yesterday when her collided with a photographer's car.  However, Britney was not driving and the car only suffered a dent.

Britney's damaged car didn't damage her spirits and the singer seemed to enjoy herself as she tried on clothes and funny sunglasses at Wasteland vintage in Los Angeles.

          

Fresh from her recent trip to New York City, BRITNEY SPEARS arrived back in Los Angeles and clearly felt the need for some more excitement in her life. So what did The Britster do?? She put her foot on the pedal and went for an afternoon of go-karting with her pals. Brit was laughing and screaming as she raced around the track. And the former train wreck managed to finish the day without getting into a wreck herself.

    

BRITNEY SPEARS was out and about in New York last night, enjoying her time back in the city where she loves to party. So it was no surprise when we caught up with her teetering out of the SoHo House restaurant, needing a helping hand from her personal bodyguard. Had she been hitting the alcohol? We'll let you decide...

Britney Spears surprised some Bronx school kids today.  The singer took pictures and signed autographs for the lucky kids of p.s. 142 this morning.  Looking very demure in a navy dress and suede pumps, Britney seemed just as excited to meet the kids as they were to meet her.

She's a culture vulture y'all!  We spotted Britney on Broadway last night attending a performance of In The Heights.  Britney looked pretty in a black dress and a very trendy pair of ankle boots.  Brit Brit seemed in good spirits as she smiled and waved to her fans who are no doubt anticipating the popster's full fledged comeback.

       

Lookin' good girl!  We spotted Britney Spears in the Soho section of New York City this afternoon; the singer attempted to go shopping but was mobbed by fans and photographers (duh).  I found Britney's outfit this afternoon to be very young and fresh; if you looked quick you might even think it was Jamie Lynn!  Britney is continuing promotion of her single "Womanizer" which will have a video debut in the upcoming weeks.

       

We spotted Brit Brit leaving Serendipity 3 last night.  Dressed in a modest gray cardigan, the singer looked relaxed as she left the restaurant famous for its frozen hot chocolate; far from her days at the Four Seasons in her pink wig!

And she says she's gonna tour y'all!  Yesterday afternoon, Britney stopped by Z100 and DJ JJ that she plans on touring next year and that her new single "Womanizer" is one for the ladies, "It’s a really cool song. I like the fact that it’s so empowering for girls because it’s basically saying, ya know, we know what you’re up to. It’s about guys cheating on other girls and stuff like that. And it’s kinda like a girl anthem, so that’s why I like it."

       

Britney's in Manhattan y'all!  We spotted the comeback kid with older brother Bryan Spears arriving at JFK airport yesterday afternoon.  Brit's new single "Womanizer" dropped late last week so there's a good chance that she's starting to do some promotion.  The full length album Circus will be released on December 2.
