Alex Rodriguez (seen here coming out of his Manhattan apartment yesterday) has called his marriage "irretrievably broken" however thinks that the court should dismiss the accusation that he cheated on his wife Cynthia.  Alex points out that Florida is a "no fault" state when it comes to divorce and therefore think that the whole "affair of the heart" thing (with Madonna) that Cynthia is pulling out should be ignored.

Cynthia is asking for their $12 million estate in Florida as well as enough child support to continue with the life style A-Rod provided for his wife and daughters while they were together.  A-Rod would also like to share custody with Cynthia, his lawyers state "husband requests that both parties are designated as 'co-residential' parents, realizing that the children are likely to spend more time with wife given the realities of husband's professional life."

   

If we thought it was shady to see A-Rod show up to the All-Star party with Madonna's ex gf Ingrid Casares last night, it was even shadier to see her leave his apartment this afternoon-in sweats!  Looks like Ingie and A-Rod had a little slumber party after the big event last night, was she too tired/sauced to make it to her own place?  Hmm? 
When pressed Ingrid told us that they were "just friends".  She also said she thought A-Rod was going to "do great" although her delivery of the line was (shockingly) very half hearted.

My, what a tangled web this has  become.  I can't wait to see who gets pulled into this crazy affair next!

Alex Rodriguez chose a rather interesting date for the MLB All-Star Game pre party at Manhattan's 40/40 club last night.  If he's trying to distance himself from the rumors that he and Madonna were or "involved", then maybe he shouldn't have shown up with one of Madge's ex-lovers!  A-rod's escort for the evening was none other than Ingrid Casares; Miami club owner and one-time Madonna (girl)friend.
If you claim that the only reason the two of you are connected is through business (sharing the same manager Guy Oseary) then why, pray tell, would you show up to a party with her ex-girlfriend? Ooh, this whole thing is getting so twisted!
There's also been talk of Madge and the kids showing up to the All-Star game at Yankee stadium tonight; maybe that's distracting to the players but it could do wonders for the ratings!

This looks uncomfortable!  We spotted A-rod in Toronto with soon-to-be ex wife Cynthia and their daughter Natasha going for dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House.  I couldn't imagine going out to eat with someone you're about to divorce being a good time, but I guess if your mouth is full of steak  you don't have to do too much talkin'.

     

An Ed Hardy t-shirt? Really, A-rod?  First Kabbalah, now this-Madonna really is brainwashing him!  Ok, maybe it's just that he's really into tattoo culture and also happens to love bedazzled trucker hats but it's a bit too coincidental that he's rocking Madonna's brand of choice. 
Scandal or not, that didn't stop fans from asking Alex to sign a baseball as he left his Manhattan apartment and made his way over to Yankee stadium for today's game.

    

Alex Rodriguez has got a great game face.  We spotted the Yankee slipping out the side door of his apartment this afternoon and you'd never know that his wife filed for divorce and is asking for millions! In addition to fighting for A-Rod's estate, Cynthia Rodriguez supposedly spent $100,000 (with A-Rod's credit cards) on a recent jaunt to Paris, getting spa treatments and going out to dinner with friends.  Poor A-Rod, like Biggie said, 'mo money, mo problems.'

    

The men in Madonna's love triangle appear to be immune to all the hype.  Guy Ritchie walking around town looking clueless and when we just spotted Alex Rodriguez he was all smiles!  We tried to ask A-Rod to give us some deets on his divorce but he remained blissfully tight-lipped; he didn't even snarl when we brought up the Red Sox! 

Alex Rodriguez and his wife Cynthia are officially dunzo!  C-Rod filed for divorce today and here are the documents to prove it.  According to these papes, A-Rod has emotionally abandoned his wife and is guilty of extra-marital affairs.  Uh oh.  Of course it gets really good when you get to the items 11-18 which basically says that A-Rod is a rich a-hole and is gonna pay up to support his ex baby mama and their two kids!  Marriage, think twice kids, it's costly!

   

Yankees' third baseman Alex Rodriguez is enduring a total shit storm from the media this week.  First there's rumors of an affair with Madonna and then rumors pop up that his wife is jocking Lenny Kravitz!  Weird and weirder, so what does A-Rod have to say about it? Nuthin'!

Ok I know A-Rod was doing something nice and I'm sure it was planned out weeks in advance, but don't you think that it was lucky that he had someone to help him deflect questions about his sordid love life?  We spotted Alex Rodriguez leaving his NYC apartment this afternoon,  the Yankees third baseman remained silent in regards to our questions about his supposed affair with Madonna.  A-Rod was accompanied by a child from the Make-A-Wish foundation and the two were headed to a Yankees game; I hope the paps didn't spoil his day but instead enhanced the celebrity experience for him!
